Cancellations & Refunds

You may request a refund of your registration for a single-day NYMHCA Institute event within 48 hours of registration; no refunds will be granted after 48 hours following the attendee's registration. Multi-day events are not refundable; registrations may be transferred to another person. Any membership included in a non-member bundle was activated immediately upon registering and is therefore not transferrable or refundable.

To request a refund, please email admin@nymhca.org. It may take up to 10 business days for your refund to be processed.

Registration fees for conferences, conventions, and summits are non-refundable. Registered attendees may transfer their ticket to another attendee up to 7 days prior to the event. Any membership included in a non-member bundle was activated immediately upon registering and is therefore not transferrable or refundable.  

If you would like to transfer your registration to another person, please contact admin@nymhca.org with the attendee's information. Note: The NYMHCA Institute cannot manage any exchange of payment between the two registrants.

Individual CE certificates will be awarded for each workshop or session attended. No partial CE credit will be given. Any attendee missing more than 15 minutes of a presentation will not be awarded CE credit. CE certificates will be added to the attendees’ NYMHCA Institute classroom, immediately following the event, as long as a request for credit was submitted during the event.

Recordings & Images

Workshop attendees should be aware that the sessions they attend may be recorded. The NYMHCA Institute retains the exclusive right to copy, distribute, publish, reproduce, and/or sell any workshop recording. Recording by any attendee of any sounds or visual images, and use of any recording device or medium now known, or later developed, is prohibited at all NYMHCA Institute workshops, presentations, conferences, or other training events unless prior written permission has been expressly granted by The NYMHCA Institute.
