Description
Contrary to popular belief, CIT programs are not police training courses. Rather, their main goal is to decrease the times that law enforcement officers are the first responders to individuals in emotional distress. The Mobile Access Program (MAP) is a police-based telehealth program with similar goals. This presentation will review the main components of both programs in New York.
