NYSED Office of the Professions: Graduate program re-approval process & diagnostic privilege requirements & application process		4/5/2025	4/5/2025	9:30 AM	10:45 AM	4/5/2025 9:30 AM - 10:45 AM Presenter: Mei Zhou, Ph. D & Ryan deOlde, and Evan Seiden, LCSW If your grad program has not been re-approved as providing the necessary coursework for your students to qualify for the diagnostic privilege, Mei Zhou and Ryan deOlde will explain the process for re-approval and answer any questions you might have. Evan will discuss the application process for people applying for the diagnostic privilege and will provide you with information useful to your students who will need to apply after graduation.

Mental Health Counseling Evidence-Based Practice Internship Program		4/5/2025	4/5/2025	11:15 AM	12:00 PM	4/5/2025 11:15 AM - 12:00 PM Presenter: Lucy Newman, Ph. D., Project Director for Evidence-based Practice in Mental Health, NYS OMH Lucy will talk about her project that allows mental health counseling students to train to work with the seriously mentally ill and then find jobs in OMH agencies. The program contracts with graduate programs around the state and there are stipends for the students and faculty advisor.
The Future of Mental Health Counseling: Panel Discussion with Guests from NYS OMH & OASAS		4/5/2025	4/5/2025	1:00 PM	2:30 PM	4/5/2025 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM Presenter: Samantha Fletcher, Ph. D., NYS OMH; Julia Fesko, NYS OASAS Samanatha and Julia will discuss employment and internship opportunities in OMH & OASAS funded agencies.
